Temple Vie is a comprehensive weight loss programme that encompasses lifestyle changes intended to help keep the weight off in the long term.
Initial Consultation - 1 hour Your initial Temple Vie Triage appointment will begin with a full explanation of the programme and an in-depth medical consultation with one of our specialist doctors our Medical Director, Dr Sam Robson, to ensure you are medically fit to undergo the programme. Initial blood tests and body composition measurements will be done at this appointment so you will need to fast (abstain from food and all liquids, including water) for at least 2 hours prior to this.
Medical Reviews - every 4 weeks Blood tests will be taken at these appointments and body composition measurements will be repeated allowing the doctor to monitor your general health and make any required adjustments to the programme.
Body Contouring - weekly 1 hour appointment This weekly treatment feels like a relaxing deep tissue massage. LPG helps to clear toxins as well as helping to improve the rate of excretion of resistant fat stores from the body. These combined effects result in a firmer smoother body shape.
Weekly Support During your body contouring appointment, your therapist will carry out a detailed review of your progress and your health, providing invaluable one-to-one support, advice and encouragement thus helping you to stay on track and motivated.
The Food In the initial weight loss stage you will eat 5-8 high protein, low calorie sachets per day. Gradually these sachets will be reduced as normal food groups are introduced. You will be advised as to the timings of these meals along with a full explanation on how the programme works. You will be advised on suitable vegetables and fruit alongside the sachets.
Meal Plan A bespoke meal plan tailored to your specific needs will be provided once the Maintenance stage is reached.
The Supplements Supplements will be provided to help keep your body working and feeling well. effectively and efficiently.
Physical Activity You will be encouraged to develop a healthy exercise habit - we focus on this more once you have reached your target weight. Exercise is essential for helping to maintain weight loss as well ashaving numerous other health benefits.
Psychological support There are important links between our weight / ,the food we eat, exercise and our mood. Psychological screening at the start of the programme will highlight if there are any underlying issues that should be addressed. While specific psychological support is available at any point in the programme, this will be provided regularly through your contacts with our therapists and medical director. A series of webinars are available to help teach you more about some of the challenges to losing weight and keeping it off. Nutritional Education Numerous resources are available to guide you and teach you how to make better food choices for life-long happy and healthy eating.
