THE STARTING POINT
A comprehensive evaluation of your current health and lifestyle. Relevant blood tests and other appropriate investigations will be conducted in tandem with an assessment of your body composition.
The body composition provides details of your percentage body fat, skeletal muscle mass, fat and muscle distribution around the body, visceral fat levels and basal metabolic rate.
A detailed evaluation will be conducted with regards to your diet and nutrition (with a food diary completed before your first visit), your patterns of physical activity, your sleep and your stress levels.
YOUR PERSONALISED PLAN
This will be formulated and a follow up arranged. There will be comprehensive information available thorough webinars, blogs, information sheets and internet links with regard to how you can work to improve your fitness and lifestyle. If appropriate we can refer you on to a specialist nutritionist and advise on local facilities to optimise your physical activity.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY CONSULTATION?
You will be sent a comprehensive questionnaire to complete in advance of your consultation. Please fill it in with as much detail as possible and return this at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. You will also be sent a 5-day food diary to complete which must be submitted along with your questionnaire . (Ideally, complete this over a period of time which includes a weekend since eating habits often change between weekdays and weekends). If you wish you can submit photos of everything you eat and drink - all the data provides a very helpful overview of your current lifestyle.
It is important that you come fasted for 2-4 hours prior to your appointment, meaning not having anything to eat or drink at all during this period, including water). This is essential preparation for the body composition analysis (which is explained below).
